pate_stephen.jpg  Stephen Pate  has been teaching here at Encore Music since 2000. Stephen is currently teaching beginner to advanced guitar and bass. He has sixteen years experience playing blues, rock and country. In addition to teaching, Mr. Pate's musical endeavors include playing in the Texas Opry Band in Crockett, TX, the Hot Rod Cadillac's, the Jubilee Christian Center Praise Team, and Rockin P. Stephen's hobbies include hog hunting, ATV trail riding, and doing odd jobs with his tractor. Stephen and his wife Jan live in Nacogdoches with their daughter Averey.

James Faucett is currently an instructor of class piano at Stephen F. Austin State University, where he earned the Bachelor of Music and Masters of Music degrees. From 2003 to 2007 Mr. Faucett was in instructor at Panola College in Carthage,TX. where he taught applied piano, class piano, and served as accompanist for the show choir. Mr. Faucett has performed regionally as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber pianist. Mr. Faucett has been teaching piano classes here at Encore Music since early 2008.

jon hall 1.jpg Jon Hall has been teaching acoustic guitar and mandolin for the past 15 years and has been teaching here at Encore since 2008. Jon's musical interests include folk, country, bluegrass, celtic, old time gospel, contemporary christian, and acoustic rock. He also enjoys ragtime, swing, and country blues music. Some of Jon's influences include: The Carter Family, Bob Dylan, Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Rich Mullins, The Beatles, and the Byrds. In addition to teaching, Jon also plays and sings with Camino Real and The Old Town Gospel Project. Jon graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1970. Him and his family have lived here in Nacogdoches, TX since 1973.
