PROS:
-fastest guitar i have ever played in my entire life! The thing has a Composite fretboard, made of Carbon/Glass Fiber. it really makes a HUGE difference.
-Weighed around 3 pounds. lightest guitar i have ever played. its really nice on your shoulders when playing longer shows.
-Sounds GREAT. (it should for $2400)
-Sleekest guitar ever. if you want to stand out while playing, buy this guitar. its completely neck through. it seems as if it is one piece of wood. it gets around 1/4 inch thick near the neck. (insane)
CONS:
-Unreliable. at least for me. after having this guitar for around three months, i had to get rid of it because my "A" string kept breaking every 30 minutes. (literally) on top of that, the electronics would fail to respond at times. it was probably best to return it.
-there is a trade off for its thin/sleekness. if you hold it by its "horns" (you can see what i mean if you look at one) it is likely that you will break it off. it has happened to many people. if you buy one, DONT HOLD IT BY THE HORNS!
-It uses a completely unique tremelo system where instead of using springs for tension, you use a special bar. they did this to compliment the fact that it is too thin to hold the springs. the downfall of it all: ITS DANGEROUS TO CHANGE IT OUT YOURSELF. it says you can permanently damage your guitar if you replace the bar incorrectly. plus, if you want the guitar to have the ability to weild higher gauges of strings, you have to special order the bars from Parker themselves. it might be better to send the thing to them if you want bigger strings...
